From Manuscript to Ship
Architecture and the Brain
Architecture and the Brain is a complex work and the culmination of a life long love of architecture and neuroscience. Dan worked with John Eberhard to bring this project from rough manuscript to perfect bound publication, designing the book with assets, images and resources from a variety of sources, including sketches on cocktail napkins. The resulting book was a crowd favorite with the American Institute of Architects and professionals in the neurosciences.
Pushing Deadlines
Greenway Publishing, the imprint for a series of Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Design publications, ran a fairly aggressive publishing schedule. Dan managed to meet often stringent deadlines for the production of books, timing delivery of perfect bound volumes to a number of AEC industry events. The books were well regarded, often lauded, at industry events, frequently selling out during events.
Working closely with the authors, Dan edited, designed, formatted and published a large number of books under the Greenway imprint, taking publications from rough manuscripts all the way to printer blue-lines and drop shipment of finished products.
