Since the pandemic, we’ve seen numerous recording and production studios shuttered. Industry changes, social distancing and the cancellation of events left many facilities reeling from the loss of steady, regular income.
MaximusMedia, a studio with a long and storied history in Fresno contacted us with a need to increase visibility with a minimal expenditure. As an audio-production “nerds” we were excited to help this unique production resource, one of the largest of its kind between LA and San Francisco, find actionable and immediate solutions to their production slowdown. They’re also a really terrific crew of people.
It was a usual story. Budgets were tight and they were seeing much less business due to social and cultural impacts of the pandemic. Several of their regular clients had shuttered their facilities, causing a cascade effect. They needed to increase visibility, find new revenue streams and diversify their base.
We conducted competitive analysis, developed a succinct understanding of the market and identified actionable opportunities, all with a value-oriented budget. The result was a new (English and Spanish) website and revitalized brand, an enhanced and growing social media presence and a new and diverse community and client base. With new revenue streams and new strategies in place for their teams to leverage, we’ll see the continued success of this unique and culturally significant resource through this cultural shift and into the next.
